Adiaha reminds me of someone who, although can appear human, has access (via her Spider origins) to other dimensions.

You hit the nail on the head. Numerologically speaking I am a 22. I manifest as I live. I just get jammed sometimes because I keep changing my mind.

The web as a portal....now that is an interesting twist to my fairytale.....

That sounds like an awesome idea :)

I've often wondered if this was the meaning behind certain visions involving Spiders, and their webs? I wonder if there's a dual connection between them?

Hi Douglas,

I am always grateful when you swing by and have anything to say! Thank you.

I love spiders and as a matter of fact, my other blog, Adiaha - No Gimmicks, Just Me, I use a fairytale that I began to write as of yet is unfinished. Ananse the spider is my dad! How cool is that. Oh and just for the record my story predates the book, "The Anansi Boys" by Gaiman

"Being of the spider people Ananse the spider-man had hundreds of children. All of them were special to him, but there was one child who was different in a most remarkable way. She was called Adiaha and had two skins. The first made Adiaha look like her mother, who happened to be a spider. The second, which could only be worn after sunset, made her the most beautiful girl in the world."

Hi Astromama,

The crossing of all of these lines creates a web and all things within it are connected.

Very cool. I've been thinking a lot about webs recently, and in particular, Spiders. It's interesting that the Art card, amongst others, also has Spider webs in it.

I've been wondering what the connection webs, and in particular Spiders, have in our daily lives. What's really cool about Spiders is just how humans, as a rule, react to them. In fact, there have been some interesting studies done which might indicate that our fear of Spiders is innate. If this is true, and we have an innate fear of Spiders, I wonder how that colours the symbolic use of Spiders and Spider webs (although admittedly they are different things) in Tarot cards.

Anyway, I think I'll stop there before my ramble becomes out of control :D ; I really enjoyed your post and its given me something to think about :)
