Tarot Card of the Day – Nine of Wands

Nine of Wands Rider-Waite Deck

Nine of Wands Rider-Waite Deck

A fortress has been erected with 8 long wands. In the background are plush green hills. A male figure stands emabattled and very much on edge.  Although he is on the lookout for more “trouble” there is no indication that it is forthcoming. He seems to have already defeated his enemies. He is not celebrating yet, but is actively protecting all that is his. His glance toward the east indicates that he is already moving toward greener pastures (background) in his mind.

To me this card says, “You have done an excellent job. Your defense of your territory has resulted in gain, but you can not celebrate yet. You have more work to do. Be on the lookout for more issues.”

Be prepared for another match where vigor and fortitude are key. Rest assured that what you stand for is worth it and maintain your cool. You are on your way to ten, which suit will you manifest?

Peace. Love. Light

Hi Astromama,

I enjoyed reading your description of the 9 of Wands.

To me this card says, “You have done an excellent job. Your defense of your territory has resulted in gain, but you can not celebrate yet. You have more work to do. Be on the lookout for more issues.”

Agreed :D . I’ve found that this card come up when someone has financial or practical worrys; concerns for their property, the payment of a debt and so on. This card seems to indicate, in my experience, that the client has almost defeated this ‘concern’.

Best regards,

Doug

what is more interesting about this card is the 8 sticks that are behind him that always symboloize to me that there is protection around what ever the question may concern. I notice that most of the wands 9 and 8 decked cards seem to have the people worrying or concerned, and that says to me that the quorent may just be over looking the situation or just simply refusing to look at the truth of the situation.
