I have been really caught up in thought lately and have been “taking trips” within my consciousness, so to speak, and have been made aware of a Divine Order inherent on the stars. I am certain it is one of many.
Saturn’s transits through the signs have been at my mind’s forefront for the past few weeks. Having felt the constricting nature Saturn can have on the psyche and been a witness to the lessons He can bring (R.I.P. Michael Jackson), I am astounded that I am just becoming aware of what I am about to share. The significance of lessons imparted by our astrological charts can not be diminished. We must clearly understand what is at stake and what we stand to gain from successfully integrating them into our souls.
Saturn’ transits from sign to sign are sometimes met with resistance and fear. While Saturn is mostly known for his restrictive energies, he also heralds dramatic change. The lessons brought by a Saturn transit are to be taken seriously and are building blocks for future self-actualization.
Each time Saturn transits a new sign it brings lessons. The lessons can be seen as building blocks, as each prepares you for the next. The house each transit occurs indicates the lesson that you may need to experience. My ascendant, Venus and sun are all found in my first house in Virgo and had just been released from Saturn’s grip. I have been restructuring me for the last two years. I left a comfortable job in the corporate sector and have increased my study and “belief” in metaphysical sciences. I have found my calling, I enjoy astrology, the tarot and happen to very good at the applying of my intuitive mind to the sciences.
Now, Saturn in Libra is occurring in my second house, which is occupied by Pluto (in Virgo) and Uranus (in Libra). Saturn and Uranus usually create fearful environments, as the myth explains they are mortal enemies. As such, I am preparing for restriction in finances and to finally accept a new career in the metaphysics. The second house is associated with our assets both material and in terms of what we value. Our desires give us a clue to what we will attract, as we naturally bring to us what we truly desire. I am excited to claim unusual gains (and potential losses) in my new businesses.
The lesson I learned in the first house, who am I and what I enjoy, have led me to understand my lessons available in Saturn’s next transit. Being prepared, knowing what I desire and what direction will lead to the manifestation of my desires, I am poised to accept Saturnine changes with the least amount of friction. I look forward to the next two and a half years, building in preparation for Saturn in Scorpio in late 2012.
Scorpio is the great transformationalist. It is quite appropriate that the “end” of the Mayan calender coincides with the coming of Saturn into Scorpio. Saturn will be in my natal third house, which is not occupied by any planet. However, it still adds to my chart, indicating the ways in which I prefer interactions with others. Understanding Scorpio, a social butterfly I most certainly am not and actually find small talk painful. I prefer more intense and revealing one on one interactions thanks to Scorpio’s rulership of this house.. How will that be revolutionized with Saturn’s transit through my third house? More importantly how will I maximize the potential of the energy available and avoid becoming a victim of a Saturnine lesson? How are you preparing for this auspicious time?
