Full Moon in Leo

by astromama on 26/01/2010

Celestial changes are pushing and pulling as we approach the first full moon of the year. The moon cycle is complete. Strong, proud, joyful, assertive and creative energies abound as the moon moves into the only sign ruled by the sun, Leo. The sun in Aquarius underscores the sense of individuality Leo brings, but reminds us that we are still connected to the masses. This full moon is about you and the energies you bring into the Collective. Who are you and what have you contributed to the Collective?

The Leo Full Moon continues to build on energies created earlier in the month from the full and new moon eclipses, the continuation of the  intense Saturn – Pluto square and the previous New Moon. In the background of this energetic moon, the Saturn Pluto square continues to tear things apart revealing truth, enabling us to re-build a stronger foundation. The truths revealed can temper the strong and assertive energies Leo is famous for leaving some of us a bit more contemplative. The reality you find in your world can cause you to want to work for change, rather than be social. Don’t lock yourself away toiling for a new tomorrow. Networking with your peers to make the changes you deem necessary may be a great balance. The social arena will be a great opportunity for you to show others your strengths. Take advantage of the Leo energy available and be a leader. Make changes in your world and the world of others.

This full moon can be a lesson learned for many who have been operating unconsciously. Don’t be surprised if you have moments where you are literally silenced by an enlightened moment.  These moments are not meant to shut you down, rather to make you aware, conscious of the reality that other people have been affected  by your word and actions because we are all CONNECTED. Those who have been operating consciously, painstakingly aware of what they offer and how they contribute to the never ending Collective may find themselves encountering what they offered and more.

Finally, this Full Moon is an opportunity to merge the destructive and dismantling energies and the rebuilding process. It is an opening in the portal of time, for us to proudly pick up the pieces that may be lying at our feet with courage and self-confidence, knowing that we have what it takes to make things better.

Midnight Madness

by astromama on 21/01/2010

Astrology is a hobby that has turned into a small business for me. I love doing readings. I especially love when a reading results in a “AhhhHaaa Moment” for a client. I really like the experience of being witness to someone’s growth and understanding. In celebration of everything good, beautiful, sweet and abundant in my world and yours, I am offering natal chart readings for what you can pay, what you think they are worth, what you feel like offering, or what you can “afford” to pay. In other words, I’ll do the reading and you make an offering. Simple!

Contact me via my contact page, mama at astromama dot com, or call me direct at nine one seven – six eight five – 5269.

I look forward to many “AhhhHaaa Moments”

Thinking

January 6, 2010

We are what we think.
All that we are arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts we make the world.
Speak or act with an impure mind
And trouble will follow you
As the wheel follows the ox that draws the cart.

We are what we think.
All that we are arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts we make the world.
Speak [...]

Saturn ❏ Pluto

November 13, 2009

On Sunday, November 15, 2009 there will be a fantastic meeting in the sky. Saturn in Libra will square Pluto in Capricorn. The combined energies of Pluto (power, regeneration and rebirth) and Saturn (restriction, limitation and correction) can produce a pressurized environment, ripe for self-discovery and growth, if and only if you can withstand the [...]

Beginning November 7th, Venus joins the Sun and Mercury in Scorpio. Venus is accidentally in her fall because Taurus, which is ruled by Venus, is the sign opposite Scorpio. Saturn & the Divine Order of Things

October 30, 2009

I have been really caught up in thought lately and have been “taking trips” within my consciousness, so to speak, and have been made aware of a Divine Order inherent on the stars. I am certain it is one of many.
Saturn’s transits through the signs have been at my mind’s forefront for the past few [...]

The Storm Before the Calm

October 26, 2009

Divine Love brings into my life the right people who can help me and make me happy, and whom I can help and make happy. Those people who are not for my highest good now fade out of my life, and find their good elsewhere. I walk in the charmed circle of God’s love, and [...]
